Vacaville High School girls’ tennis is bringing home wins despite the issue with our construction of the tennis courts. Their overall record is 7-1. However their league record is 5-1.The Head Coach responsible for the team is Corey Lee otherwise known as Mr. Lee. The Assistant coach is Greg Gmahling which students know as Mr. Gmahling. The girls sure are dominating the 2016-2017 season for tennis.
The coaches and girls are working hard to bring home victories. Head Coach, Mr. Lee, said “The season is going pretty well. Our biggest competition is Rodriguez and Armijo High school.” Assistant Coach, Mr. Gmahling, stated “We have an excellent girls tennis team this season. We have 11 returning players this year. The girls are playing very well and we are on the hunt. We lost a tough battle against Rodriguez but I am sure we can beat them next time. Our new courts should be ready on October 3rd, and we play Rodriguez at home!”
Vacaville High School has a strong girls’ tennis team that is tough to beat. Be sure to go out on October 3rd to support our girls at our new courts and cheer them on to victory.
