Girls Badminton is coming up soon, on February 28th where the first game will be played against Armijo High. Head Coach Corey Lee has already began coaching the players to get them ready for their very first game. The game will take place in Vacaville, hopefully settling players nerves before the game since they’ll be in their hometown. Games throughout the year will be held in several different schools such as Davis, Napa, and Rodriguez. MEL and SJS tournaments will take place on April 28th, May 12th and 13th letting the players show off their newly learned badminton skills. This will be a chance for players to compete against other players, learn new skills and meet new badminton players. Being a part of the girls Badminton team could open players up to new sports world filled with opportunities that may affect future school decisions and college opportunities. Joining the team is a fun new experience where you can make new friends and enjoy time after school by working with a team. Future games are held now until May 13th, which is shown on Vacaville High School’s school website. The students of Vacaville High School have been looking forward to badminton all last year and it's finally here for people to try out and join the team. This year's badminton will be a long great season for all of Vaca High to enjoy and continue to enjoy throughout the year and many more years to come.
